Why this journal was created

It seems that every day with Goshka brings somethig new. He changes, he grows, he learns to smile and to recognize us. He makes cute faces or reacts to something, and I think "I want to remember this forever." But I'm afraid I won't. And so, I've been making a few entries in my spreadsheet, describing what Goshik is doing, how he's behaving, or simply my thoughts about him and our family. Last night, I got an idea that our relatives and friends might want to see some of those notes as well. That way, when it's late at night, and I'm falling asleep, but remember that I haven't called Goshkin's grandparents yet and reach catatonically for the telephone, I might let the phone lie silent, knowing that they can find out about Goshka's day from this journal.
Strictly speaking, it isn't a journal at all, it's a community. I made it this way so that other people who interact with my sunshine can post their notes and pictures. I don't know if Goska will ever be interested in reading it, but we ourselves certainly will be.
Anything containing personal information and most posts with pictures will be friends-only.
