It's fun getting mail

We are a pretty card-less family. That is, we don't send cards to people wishing them happy birthday, and we don't exchange cards inside the family, even for occasions like birthdays. Which is why when our kids get a card or a letter in the mail, they know exactly who it's from: aunt Talia and uncle Vadik.

Yesterday we got two Valentine cards, which were very much enjoyed and appreciated! Gosha even wanted to go and write right back (I'll try to make sure he does). Mira read hers (I gave her mine) as a book. Thank you, aunt Talia (uncle Vadik gets thanks by association, I suppose).

As mom said, you guys gave us the best present ever -- those name cards from Vista Print. She got a birthday card on it. I completely concur -- I got an awesome handmade Valentine's card on those cards as well :).

So if you are ever stuck for ideas for what to get us -- I think we'll run out of those cards soon....
